Dionysus and Bacchus Vineyards-Columbia Valley 

Double Gold Medal Seattle Wine Awards  Sol'd Out

The inky dark color of this wine continues through to dark blue fruit (thank you, Malbec) on the nose that is heady with violets (hello, Cabernet Franc) and the tell-tale pyrazines (bell pepper) of Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate delivers significant cinnamon spice, prunes, cassis, black pepper, blackberry, and even flinty graphite. Consider pairing it with a leaner steak, simple burger, or pasta with tomato sauce.

The grapes come from the Bacchus, Dionysus Vineyards. This terroir is north-east side of the Columbia River - soft rolling knolls provide a warm site, not too hot or too cool with excellent air drainage in sandy loam soils.  

A portion of proceeds are donated to Guide Dogs For The Blind providing a life changing partnership.
