Chardonnay 2020

Stillwater Creek Vineyards-Royal Slope AVA

Chardonnay is a winemaker’s grape. When introduced to oak barrels, all that lush pear and citrus round out into lemon chiffon pie, caramelized like crème brûlée. Baking spices of nutmeg and clove tip this towards a peach crisp finish screaming for a rich, buttery side of seafood. Scallops, crab cakes, triple cream cheese. Done.

There is a reason Chardonnay is the most popular wine on earth!

Sundance 2020

Artz Vineyard-Red Mountain and Angiolina Vineyard- Yakima AVA

We love this Bordeaux blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon! The Sauv Blanc is from one of the best vineyards on Red Mountain, Artz and was barrel fermented in neutral oak. It starts with flavors of lemongrass, tangerine and citrus followed by the creamy pear flavors from the Semillon. The Semillon (fermented in stainless steel) from another noted vineyard, Angiolina, marries perfectly with the Sauvignon Blanc. It's like drinking a glass of sunshine!

Viognier 2020

Antoine Creek, Corfu Crossing and Conner Lee Vineyards

Columbia Valley AVA

Bursting with fragrant apricot and honeysuckle, this flirty dressed-for-summer viogn-YAY hits you up front with tangerine tang and ginger spice that keeps going and going and going like the Energizer bunny with a basket full of starbursts. Silky round AND playfully pointed – how does she do that? All that fruity richness would get along nicely with spicy Thai food or aromatic Middle Eastern dishes that feature spiced stewed fruits and nuts.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Dionysus/Weinbau Vineyards-Columbia Valley

95 Points Washington Tasting Room Magazine

"Remarkably structured, this is a serious effort sourced from Dionysus and Weinbau Vineyards. This packs immense black cherry, cassis and plum paste inlaid with dried savory herbs, worn oak and warm loamy notes that show lateral movement within a framework of cultivated yet muscular tannins. Long lasting and satisfying on all fronts."

Suggested pairing: Seared beef tri-tip with a chimichurri sauce; salt-roasted beet salad, with toasted walnuts in a roasted shallot and olive oil dressing

Grenache 2017

90 Points-The Wine Panel

Weinbau and Stone Tree Vineyards-Wahluke Slope

What begins as a simple carefree bowl of macerating strawberries starts to take on more earthy complexity as it opens up – a mug of black tea, a little whiff of shroomy goodness, maybe even the distinct aroma of potting soil. It’s like spending the end of a warm summer day at the edge of a cool forest – bright happy acidity, barely noticeable tannins, and a satisfying finish.

Malbec 2018

Gamache Vineyard-Columbia Valley

2018 Malbec-91 Points The Wine Panel

"Darkness in a glass. Big, robust, non-apologetic Malbec. Aged in American Oak and sourced from Gamache Vineyards old vines, this is a pretty significant, full-bodied wine with enough intensity to stand up to a hearty entree of wild game or smoked meats, or even a rich triple cream cheese. Abundant blackberry, blueberry, and a touch of red current for zing. For a small production wine, this drinks like a $75 reserve release from one of Argentina's premier producers instead of a small Woodinville, Washington winery. "

Ruby 2018

Gamache, Bacchus, Weinbau and Dionysus Vineyards, Columbia Valley AVA

This big red is a blend of Malbec, Cab Franc, Syrah and a little Petit Verdot.  With the predominant Gamache Vineyard, Malbec, this wine is pleasing from the tip of your tongue to the back pallet.  Rich and full bodied, yet smooth and approachable now.  It exudes dark fruit with a smokey finish and medium tannins and pairs well with many foods.

Stoners Red 2018

Weinbau and Stillwater Vineyards Columbia Valley AVA

60% Grenache-40% Syrah

92 Points The Wine Panel- Gold Medal Bellingham NW Wine Festival

Stoners Red is usually a GSM (blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre') but this year we left off the M as it wasn't needed. The intensity of both varieties give this wine bold flavors and richness and nothing else was needed. The grapes meld together producing a complex bouquet of violets, boysenberries and black olive.

"While the fun name of Stoner's Red implies there may not be much going on other than a fun wine, we had no idea what it was called when tasting it blind and assumed it was around $45. The wine is elegant and balanced, and with the integrated, fine tannins, it drinks like a polished, expensive wine. Made from 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah from Weinbau and Stillwater Creek Vineyards, this small production Rhone style blend is young but approachable now. Ripe, but not over ripe. Rich, but not heavy." 92 Points in the $25-$35 Category - The Wine Panel.
